Fan (Philip) is the Sales & Marketing Manager for Greater China Region. His experience includes end-to-end new business development, China-ready marketing campaigns and contributes cultural insight and valuable market knowledge of Chinese group and FIT markets. Phillip has led a team to establish WeChat Pay/Alipay and a multi-language commentary APP, WeChat build-in mini program for Tour operator & charter bookings.  He has attended Eastern Trade Shows such as Corroborre Asia, Greater China Travel Mission, ATE, ATEC, Meeting Place and quarterly mini sales missions to ITOs in Australia.

Philip’s career in tourism started with ‘Servicing Chinese Visitors Program’ funded by Australian Federal Government early 2014, when he studied Tourism and Travel Services Management. He has served as a professional tour guide at ITO and as a native Chinese/mandarin speaker, he gained front-line experience from serving in total of over 1500 Chinese and overseas Group and FIT visitors and 20 high-end familiarization services for Tourism Australia, Visit Victoria  to Media and Agent groups. Philip has 8-year experiences working in B2B Sales & B2C business development, promoting high-end products and services between China and Australia. Prior to his professional life in Australia, he was awarded bachelor’s degree in Engineering in China.  He is also member of Young Australian Tourism Export Council (YATEC)& Professional Tour Guide Association of Australia (PTGAA). Phil was also a keynote speaker for Beyond the City – Dispersing Chinese Visitors into Regional Australia Symposium in 2018.
